2026年9月17日（木）、柴田会長をはじめとする新年度の二水会役員有志にて、オークランド日本国総領事館を訪問し、箕谷総領事にご挨拶申し上げました。
当日は、新年度役員体制の紹介に加え、二水会の活動方針、日系企業を取り巻く環境、邦人コミュニティとの連携について幅広く意見交換を行いました。
また、2027年に迎える日本とニュージーランドの外交関係樹立75周年についても話題となり、関係団体が連携しながら両国関係のさらなる発展に貢献していくことの重要性を改めて確認いたしました。

Courtesy Visit to the Consul-General of Japan in Auckland
On 17 September 2026, members of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Auckland (Nisuikai), led by President Yukihisa Shibata, paid a courtesy visit to the Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland and met with Consul-General Suguru Minoya.
The delegation introduced the new Executive Committee members and exchanged views on Nisuikai’s plans for the year ahead, the business environment for Japanese companies in New Zealand, and collaboration within the wider Japanese community.
The discussion also touched on the upcoming 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and New Zealand in 2027. Participants reaffirmed the importance of cooperation among Japan-related organisations in further strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Nisuikai would like to express its sincere appreciation to Consul-General Minoya for his time, encouragement, and valuable insights.
